About our Product

Yes, all SafeStyle®️ safety glasses are tested and certified to AS/NZS 1337.6 standards for medium impact protection. All SafeStyle®️ safety glasses are also certified with SAI Global and have the 5 ticks Australian StandardsMark™️.

No, the side shields are fixed to ensure maximum protection and certification compliance. Removal of the side shields voids our safety certification and also reduces the level of safety our eyewear provides.

To ensure longevity and performance, clean all SafeStyle® Safety Glasses using the SafeStyle® Cleaning Spray and the provided microfibre cloth. Avoid chemical or alcohol-based products.

When not in use, store glasses in the provided microfibre pouch or a hard case, and avoid prolonged exposure to UV and extreme heat.

No. Prescription lenses cannot be fitted into a non-prescription (plano) SafeStyle frame after purchase. They must be purchased together as one complete, certified prescription pair.

Our prescription range can only be purchased through our website or via a participating optometrist. This ensures the pair meets certification requirements and the lenses and fit are tailored to the customer’s needs.

Supplying the frame or lens separately voids our safety certification and does not comply to the Australian Standards. Fitting a prescription lens to a non-prescription frame not only voids the certification (safety properties of the pair) but also voids any warranty.

No, All SafeStyle®️ safety glasses are free from any metal components and/or any conductive parts.

Our frames are made from highly durable Grillamid TR XE — which has excellent chemical resistance, high strength and impact resistance, low moisture absorption and heat and UV resistance.

Super Hard Coat (Included as standard): All our lenses feature a durable anti-scratch coating that enhances scratch resistance vs a standard lens for long-lasting protection in both work and leisure environments. Please note that no lens surface or coating is 100% scratch resistant.

VP Coat: A durable anti-scratch coating combined with a hydrophobic layer that repels water, oil, and dirt - keeping lenses cleaner and easier to maintain. The anti-reflective treatment also includes a back-surface coating that absorbs light reflected off the rear of the lens, such as sunlight entering from the side while driving, for example. This reduces glare and prevents potentially harmful UV light from reflecting into the eye, improving visual comfort and protection.

UV Control:Combines all the properties and benefits of a VP Coat. Including anti-bacterial protection and an additional UV blocker to protect your eyes from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation that may reflect back off the surface of the lens.

Full Control:Hard Multicoated UV lenses, with added UV and blue light filters, provide comfortable vision and reduces eye strain from prolonged blue light exposure.

This certification signifies that our eyewear is suitable for use in situations where eye protection is required, providing users with confidence that it will effectively safeguard them.

It's an important marker of quality and safety for individuals and organisations seeking appropriate protective gear to protect them from the worksite to the weekend. SafeStyle are committed to delivering high quality and trustworthy solutions which is why all our eyewear has been certified with SAI Global.

Hoya Dynamic Prime lenses offer smooth transitions and clear vision across all distances, ideal for everyday wear. They can be ordered with a corridor length of either 11 or 14mm.

Dynamic Premium lenses build on this with later technologies, enhancing stability, creating wider viewing zones, and reducing distortion - perfect for active lifestyles or wearers needing extra visual comfort. Dynamic Premium lenses come in 11, 13 and 15mm corridor lengths.

Corridor length (or progression length) is the vertical distance over which a progressive lens gradually shifts in power from distance vision to the intermediate and near zones. A shorter corridor (lower number) means a quicker transition to near vision. This length plays a key role in how comfortable and functional the lens feels when worn.

If there's no specific requirement for a different corridor length, we generally recommend a standard length of 13 or 14 mm.
